Ok now im probably retarded or something but I am starting a service business and am trying to figure out how I can charge my customers one time a month for a service I charge weekly... For example if i want to charge say $50 a week but i want to only bill them one time a month, But the "same price" every month, say $200 .. How do i manage this without out falling behind or be ahead with my service? Does this make sense?|||I think you should go with $215 or $220.
My reasoning: The only month with nearly exactly 4 weeks in it is February. All the other months are 4 weeks and two or three days.
Days in year = 365. Average days per month = (365/12) = 30.4
Average weeks per month = (30.4 / 7) = 4.34
If you want to charge $50 per week, the monthly amount would be
(4.34 x $50) = $ 217

So yeah, I'd go with a monthly charge of $220 (or $54 per week), otherwise you're gyping yourself out of getting paid for those extra days in the longer months.
