SERVICE and SUPPORT CHARGE Do i have to have them if i dont need them?

I live in a new bungalow and i have a letter from Magna Housing Assosiation and i am only 58 years old and i cant wait to move in next week, however i got the letter saying Rent = 拢90.01 a week and thats dear but thats life so its ok, but what about service charge and support charge? i dont need these services so can i cancel them or reduce them ALOT?? BIG HELP! x|||Those "Service and Support" Charges will cover common-area maintenance and repairs (landscape, sidewalks, lighting and so forth) as well as services such as trash removal, snow removal and the like. All services that benefit you (as well as all other residents) and so part of the cost of being in that development.

Read your deed/lease/association agreement carefully to see exactly what is covered under these charges - and see if there are any that are truly optional. That is unlikely, but possible. In any case, read what you signed and make sure that you understand all of it. In the US, these are call CAM (common-area maintenance) charges and are part of most leases, condominium or cooperative agreements, and quite a few development agreements associated with contiguous and gated communities.|||Where you have a lease that requires you to contibute towards maintenance of the estate or building then you cannot get out of it, its part of the contract. The agency responsible will maintain the external aspects of the property with that money. It matters not how old or fit you are. Support charges often pay for an on-site manager who looks after the site and residents|||You probably do, after all it is the Magna not the Magnanimous Housing Association.
