Will my cell phone provider charge me for using email/internet service on the Ipod Touch?

I am unsure if the question I'm asking makes any sense but I am very paranoid that my AT%26amp;T cell phone service will charge me extra on my next bill by using the internet, email, and yahoo instant messenger as if I were using any ordinary cell phone. Why else would they need my cell phone number during the installation process? Can someone please answer this for me? Thanks|||Your cell plan should say what the charges are for 3G data. If you have WiFi, that does not count.


Some dataless plans do indeed have a steep charge for internet use.|||I'm not 100% positive, but my friend has one. He says that they don't.
