How much would a maid service charge to clean an average two bedroom apartment?

Hey there, I used to have a 2 bedroom apartment where I used to live, and looked into getting maid service done. Of course it depends on the company, but I looked at Merry maids and they charged by the hour, not by the size, so it just depends on how messy your place is I guess. Good luck!|||I checked into this recently, and it depends on a lot of things.


Basically, they will want to do an initial deep cleaning and then regular maintenance. The initial deep cleaning will probably run 4 hours and the maintenance might be one to two hours every other week or two hours once a month. Here in the Seattle area $50+ an hour isn't unreasonable.





Things that will effect the cost:


Your location -- it will be cheaper in Alabama than in New York City


the experience and insurance protection the maid has -- Joe Blow maid on craigslist can be cheaper but riskier than a licensed and bonded maid that works for a maid service company like merry maids.


What tasks you want done -- cleaning a fridge is more costly than than a quick dusting, vacuuming %26amp; tidying.
