How does the cellphone service charge me when I call/receive phone if I'm not in my local area?

For example, my cellphone starts 416,if I'm in 614 area to call/receive 416-xxx phone, how does cellphone service charge me? 416 and 614 all are coverred by the same provider.|||Technically, you pay for the airtime of the call, the roaming charge for being off of your area code and you also pay for the long distance that would normally be charged to the individual calling you. All of these items are combined nowadays into your plan minutes. That's assuming of course that you have some kind of national or no roaming plan for your phone. 3-5 years ago you could pay for all of those items sperately.|||It all depends on the type of plan that you have. Regardless, the situation you describe puts the long distance charge on you whether it comes out of your bundled minutes or a seperate, specific charge for the actual long distance. It all comes back to you and your wallet in the end.
